(SportsNetwork.com) - Two of the hottest teams in the NBA tip it up Thursday, as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors clash at Oracle Arena. The Warriors recently had their franchise-record 16-game winning streak broken, while the Thunder have ripped off seven straight wins and nine in the last 10 games. Oklahoma City is 8-1 since Kevin Durant returned from foot surgery and recorded a 104-92 win at Sacramento on Tuesday in the opener of a three-game western road trip. Russell Westbrook scored 32 points with seven assists and Durant netted 26 points for OKC, which has held the last four opponents under 100 points and scored 26 points on 19 Sacramento turnovers. Defensively, we have been locking down, said Durant, who reached the 15,000- point mark in his career. If we want to win, we have to continue to do that. The Thunder, who posted 21 fastbreak points, are first in opponents scoring at 93.9 points per game and second in opponents field goal percentage (41.8). The Thunder are unbeaten in the last four away games and have a 5-8 road mark this season. Oklahoma City will visit the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night and is averaging 104.9 ppg over the past 10 games. Thunder center Steven Adams (calf) is probable Thursday. The Warriors dropped a 105-98 decision in Memphis on Tuesday. It was their first loss since Nov. 11 versus San Antonio. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry scored 22 and 19 points, respectively, and Marreese Speights added 18 off the bench for Golden State, which went 2-1 on its road trip and shot 41.1 percent. The Warriors struggled from 3-point territory and made only 9-of-31 beyond the arc. Curry was just 1-for-10 on 3-pointers. Memphis opened the second quarter on a 20-0 run and posted a 33-19 scoring advantage in the period. The Grizzlies later had their lead trimmed to two points, but responded with a 7-0 run to pull away. Just too much to overcome, thats a great team, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. We had to fight really hard just to get back to where we were. Golden State had won 10 straight road games, a franchise best. Draymond Green finished with four points, five blocks, six assists and 10 rebounds in defeat. The Warriors were again without David Lee (hamstring) and Andrew Bogut (knee tendinitis). The Warriors are scheduled to play two straight and eight of their next 10 games at home, where they have won six in a row. Kerrs squad is third in scoring at 107.2 ppg and third with a 47.8 field goal percentage. Thompson has aided those numbers and has posted 20 or more points in each of the previous eight games. Golden State notched a 91-86 win over Oklahoma City on Nov. 23, as Speights had 28 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Durant and Westbrook did not play in that one for OKC. Its sort of a fresh start. Its hard to (get) a fresh start going into your 15th season. The Dodgers finalized their trade for the All-Star shortstop on Friday, sending right-hander Zach Eflin and left-hander Tim Windle to the Phillies for Rollins and $1 million to cover part of his $11 million salary in 2015. Los Angeles had to wait to unveil its acquisition until Matt Kemps trade to the San Diego Padres was finished Thursday. After his 14-year tenure in Philadelphia wound down this year, the 36-year-old Rollins agreed to waive his no-trade clause. He said the Dodgers were his top trade destination — for reasons both fanciful and practical.Ive always loved the colour blue, Rollins said. Thats my favouritecolour. I think I just naturally love wearing that uniform because of that colour. But the most important thing is theyre winning right this very moment, he added. Playing against them, I get a sense of what they have going on in the clubhouse by seeing the bench. It reminds me of what we used to have in Philadelphia, just the joy of playing and being around each other, so thats attractive. And then they happen to have some pretty good guys on their team. I think you guys know the MVP, Cy Young dude. He makes you want to play behind him any time he takes the mound, so Ill get that opportunity now.Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers vaunted rotation are just one advantage of playing in Chavez Ravine for Rollins, who has an indirect connection to the teams biggest rivalry: The Oakland native grew up rooting for the Athletics and disliking the San Francisco Giants across the Bay.Rollins, a three-time All-Star, hit .243 last season with 11 homers, 55 RBIs and 28 steals. The 2007 NL MVP had started 14 consecutive openers for the Philliies, helping Philadelphia win the 2008 World Series title.ddddddddddddAndrew Friedman, the Dodgers new president of baseball operations, targeted Rollins to replace free-agent departure Hanley Ramirez at shortstop.Jimmy fits us incredibly well, Friedman said. He really brings some grit to our team and is obviously very experienced at playing baseball in October. He still has a lot of life in his body. Switch-hitter, good defender, and he adds that element of speed to our lineup that we were looking for.Speaking from his off-season home in Tampa, Florida, Rollins said the finality of his departure from Philadelphia is still sinking in after watching countless teammates leave town during an entire career in one city. Its business, Rollins said. I shed my tears for the very first time when the Phillies traded Bobby Abreu (in July 2006). That tore a piece of my heart out, but it also brought home the realization that this is a business, and things are going to happen and you cant be emotional about them. You have to understand what this is and take it in stride and go on about your business.Rollins said he is printing a love letter to Philadelphia fans in the Inquirer newspaper this weekend, thanking them for their support since 2000.Rollins will take over as the Dodgers everyday shortstop alongside new second baseman Howie Kendrick, another thirtysomething major leaguer who had spent his entire career with one team, the Angels. Rollins had a revolving cast of second basemen in Philadelphia before Chase Utleys rise, so he isnt worried about the transition.Ive seen him play, and Ive actually become a fan of his, Rollins said of Kendrick. As long as we can go out there and really spend that time getting to know each other, after about 10 days or two weeks, we should be in pretty good shape.Eflin was 10-7 with a 3.80 ERA last season in 24 starts for Class A Lake Elsinore. Windle was a second-round draft pick in 2013 who went 12-8 with a 4.26 ERA in 25 starts and one relief appearance for Class A Rancho Cucamonga.___AP Sports Writer Rob Maaddi in Philadelphia contributed to this report.
