ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Braves have placed catcher Evan Gattis on the 15-day disabled list and recalled right-hander Juan Jaime from Triple-A Gwinnett. Tuesdays move was expected after the Braves announced Monday night a MRI revealed Gattis has a bulging disk in his back. The move with Gattis is retroactive to Sunday. "Hes just very patient," said Bombers head coach Tim Burke. "He just reads it, and then he sees the hole and goes. Thats where weve got to be good. Weve got to stay in our gaps and just hold him down." Winnipeg cornerback Brandon Stewart says the Bombers defence knows what it has to do to try and contain Sheets. "Weve got to be assignment-sharp, because (Sheets) has vision as a running back, and he has the speed to also bound it when he sees it," he said. "Everybody has to be in their gaps, or he can crease you. Hes shown it on multiple defences this year." Burke wants to see the Bombers put forth their best effort, but at the same time, he does not minimize the hurdles his team must overcome. "Obviously, theyre a very good football team," he said, "and Reginas a very tough place to play." Tough, and also noisy. "I imagine its even louder there this year than it has been in the past," Burke said, "because the one end is bowled in now. Theres a lot of challenges going in there."
